Yeah, we’ve had some of that. A good case in point – it’s one of my favorite Kerala dishes but Sandeep doesn’t much are for it. Hard family to please! You should start your baby early 🙂 I think we already missed the boat with our kids on spices.

The food in Kerala really is amazing. Our problem in this case is that it is too much of a good thing. As life becomes less labor intensive, families are moving to less oily foods. The spice is here to stay though 🙂

The food preparation in Kerala is different & the way you described the whole thing in such a detail is very interesting, it’s mouth watering as this kind of sea-food my husband likes very much. In the very recent past my sister & her entire family visited Kerala and they enjoyed the sea-food a lot.
