We’ve been outside of Athens, in a suburb, so I can’t fairly comment on the city yet. We head there June 1st for a few days and I’ll let you know. We leave for Namibia on the 5th and then Cape Town on the 14th. I can’t believe we are going to miss each other!

I was in Greece last July and didn’t like Athens very much. It reminded me of NYC suburbs. I really like the islands though.
Too bad you couldn’t make it to the Caucasus. Namibia next? I am leaving for South Africa in three weeks.
